For a start, the ratio of butter:graham crackers was way off, causing the slab to basically drip butter all over the place. Then, the chocolate-condensed milk mixture didn’t harden during baking, so I had to freeze it.
When I made the marshmallow, I realized there is too much marshmallow for the base, causing the baking pan to almost overflow. Once everything has set, it took about 30 min to cut it into a square shape that showed all three layers. As a final touch to this culinary disaster, when I was torching the top of the bars, the marshmallow has melted and everything fell apart. I will NOT be making those again.
Not everything was a disaster though, I finally nailed down how to make shrimp tempura: 1) cover with flour, 2) cover with egg, 3) cover with tempura crumbs (using a spoon!). Add some salt to each of the bowls, prepare all of the shrimp ahead of frying, and you’re done.
