Tottenham Loaf
  1. Cream butter and sugar (as instructed above).
  2. Add eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. Add flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt, and mix lightly to combine.
  4. Bake on 350F in a loaf pan until golden and center is not wiggly, around 30-45min.
  5. For the icing, mix adequate amounts of icing sugar, water, and syrup until glaze consistency. Pour over cooled cake and let set in the fridge.
