I finally spent a full day in the kitchen. Made cream cheese filling, mexican bun topping, and bought croissants. Tomorrow I’ll bake it all together with some chestnut jam, lemon curd, wild blueberries, and apricots (but not together!). I made lemon arlettes which set the smoke detector on, and sprinkle covered chocolate balls, which were good and familiar. I also soaked a bag of chickpeas for tomorrow’s falafel and started preparing labena cheese, I hope it will turn out well.
