Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix lightly to incorporate. Add dried fruit and nuts, mix again.
Shape the dough into a log (about 18″ long by 3″ wide), on a baking sheet. You might want to use some flour, as the dough is quite sticky.
Coat with egg wash, and bake for 30min, until the colour is nice and golden. Let cool.
Once completely cooled, cut slices with a serrated knife. Arrange back on the baking sheet, and bake for about 15min, until desired softness (or lack of) is achieved.
